This is such a simple, simple thing to do and so, so tasty. In terms of a snack, pepitas could not be better. 100g of Pepitas provides over half your daily protein requirement. They are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. There’s really nothing bad about these.
And let’s face it, if it’s munchie time in mid afternoon or whilst cooking tea, it is well worth having a tasty bowl of these next to you to snack on than…well…anything else really 🙂
Sprinkle a baking tray with pepitas and drizzle some tamari (or soy sauce) over the top. Mix them around, spread them out, and bake them at 180 degrees C for about 10 minutes – depending on your oven. Take them out before they burn 🙂
